Local Authorities
The Homefinding and Fostering Agency has a number of single placements, and placements for sibling groups.
All Local Authority social workers receive up to date information on each child they place. Each social worker is emailed a monthly supervision report on the foster carer and the child placed. The report is focused on the "Outcomes" framework.
Communication is an important aspect of our work and we keep all social workers informed of any changes in the children's circumstances.
We are available 24 hours a day to receive referrals.
We specialise in making placements on a permanent basis. We have a strong record of success in making placements positive as well as converting short term placements into permanent ones.
We specialise in supporting our carers with very experienced social work staff which has minimised disruptions.
The Homefinding and Fostering Agency offer:-
We have a unique all inclusive fee policy which, as well as being very competitive, excludes any additional charges to placing authorities. This fee can include all costs associated with contact including the provision of a venue, supervisor and transport costs. The fee can also include the finding and provision of a learning support assistant if a child requires some extra support in the classroom. The fee provision can also include the provision of life story work and preparation for permanence if commissioned by the placing authority.
